What is eChallan?

ePayments through eChallan (Government Receipt Accounting System)

Government of Himachal Pradesh has decided to receive Government receipt through online mode also. A standardized challan form has been devised for this purpose and it is available on e-Challan portal of the Department of Treasuries, Accounts and Lotteries. Any person wishing to deposit government money can avail this facility by logging on to the system. At present government of Himachal Pradesh has signed MoU with the banks (list available on portal). Any customer having Net banking account with these banks can make online payment through this portal. The facility for online challan is available 24X 7 and customer can make payment as per their option in challan form from anywhere through internet.

A provision has also been made to generate the challan for manual payment at the treasury bank counter.
